To accompany Solidarity Housing, the Workers’ Party’s policy for 100% public mixed income housing, the Workers’ Party have launched a proposal for a public housing corporation, to fund and manage the scale of public housing required to tackle the housing crisis.

The proposal would enable borrowing within EU rules, to fund long-term, large-scale building of social housing. It is a more cost effective, and more equitable, solution to Ireland’s housing crisis.
