Dick Roche is the Workers’ Party representative in Waterford.

Dick works at Assisi House Seniors Social Centre and is a former independent City Councillor for the old Waterford City North ward.

Dick has a long record of community and trade union activism. He is the former head shop steward at Waterford Stanley and former President of the Waterford Council of Trade Unions.

He has been a leading campaigner against service charges and water privatisation and is chairman of the South East radiotherapy campaign.

Dick’s priorities for Waterford are tackling the jobs and housing crises, and ensuring that all citizens have access to quality, public education and health services.
