Workers’ Party members, including our National Organiser Caoimhe Garland, met Marie Barry from the Cuba Solidarity Forum Ireland to present a donation towards medical supplies for Cuba.

The money was raised through donations for our late comrade and friend Seamy Reynolds, who suddenly and sadly passed away in February.

Seamy had a great love for Cuba and the Cuban people. Throughout his life, he fully supported the ideals of the Cuban revolution, and campaigned alongside his great friend and comrade Roddy Hassan, as well as many others, to lift the illegal and immoral blockage of Cuba by United States imperialism.

A fitting tribute to a great socialist, republican and internationist comrade Seamy Reynolds.
